Azania Bank participated in the 15th Ordinary Meeting of the Central Corridor Inter-State Council of Ministers (ICM), held at Johari Rotana Hotel in Dar es Salaam. The meeting brought together Ministers from Central Corridor member states, development partners, ambassadors, and other key stakeholders to discuss initiatives aimed at enhancing regional integration, trade facilitation, and economic development within the Central Corridor.
During the meeting, Dr. Esther Mang’enya, Managing Director of Azania Bank, signed a financing agreement between Azania Bank and the Central Corridor Transit Transport Facilitation Agency (CCTTFA) to support the development of the Ushoroba House project.
The agreement marks an important milestone in the partnership between Azania Bank and CCTTFA, reflecting a shared commitment to strengthening institutions that play a vital role in facilitating trade, improving transport efficiency, and promoting regional integration across the Central Corridor.
Speaking during the signing ceremony, Dr. Mang’enya reaffirmed Azania Bank’s commitment to supporting strategic projects that contribute to infrastructure development, economic growth, and sustainable development across the region.
