Speaking during the signing ceremony, Azania Bank’s Director of Business Development, Mr. Yahaya Mbanka, stated that the initiative is part of the bank’s commitment to social investment that delivers positive and sustainable impact to the community.
He emphasized that, “sustainable development is achievable when the private sector works closely with public and social institutions to address real societal challenges.”
On his part, MOI’s Chief Executive Officer, Ambassador Dr. Mpoki Ulisubisya, commended Azania Bank for responding to the call, noting that the contribution will enhance the institute’s capacity to provide care to a larger number of children in need of specialized treatment.
He further highlighted that the partnership is expected to expand beyond healthcare services to include access to financial services for patients and staff, thereby improving accessibility to banking services for MOI stakeholders.
This collaboration reflects Azania Bank’s continued commitment to community development and its efforts to bring services closer to the people, as part of its broader goal of fostering an inclusive and sustainable economy.
