Hon. Festo Sanga, the Chairperson of the Bunge Bonanza addressed members of the media on 16th January 2026 at the Parliament Sub-Office in Dar es Salaam, officially announcing the Azania–Bunge Bonanza 2026, scheduled to take place on 31st January 2026 at John Merlin School Grounds, Dodoma.
Hon. Sanga stated that the Guest of Honour is expected to be Hon. Dr. Mwigulu Lameck Nchemba, Prime Minister of the United Republic of Tanzania.
The Azania–Bunge Bonanza 2026 will bring together supporters of Simba SC and Young Africans SC, including Members of Parliament, Parliamentary staff, various institutions, and members of the public.
The event will also feature representatives from both clubs and football authorities, including officials from Simba Sports Club, Young Africans Sports Club, and the Tanzania Football Federation (TFF).
Speaking on behalf of Azania Bank, the Manager – Public Relations and Communications, Ms. Elizabeth Nyattega, noted that the Bank is proud to sponsor the Bonanza for the third consecutive year. She emphasized that the sponsorship reflects Azania Bank’s commitment to strengthening relationships with the Government and the Parliament of Tanzania, while also promoting sports, health, and community well-being.
In addition, on the day of the Bonanza, Azania Bank will be present at the venue to provide financial literacy education and banking services to all participants.
