Azania Bank reaffirmed its commitment to gender equality and financial inclusion through its active participation and sponsorship of the 2025 Women in Finance Sector Conference (TAWIFA), held under the theme “Invest in Women, Accelerate Progress.”
The conference, officially inaugurated by the Deputy Prime Minister, Hon. Dr. Doto Biteko, served as a platform for exchanging of ideas aimed at bridging the gender gap in finance.
As one of the key sponsors, Azania Bank took center stage by showcasing its innovative financial solutions tailored to empower women across all levels of society.
Delivering the keynote address, Azania Bank’s Managing Director highlighted the institution’s dedication to creating sustainable financial pathways for women. In addition to the conference sponsorship, Azania Bank partnered with TAWIFA for the MTI PESA environmental campaign, where staff members and community stakeholders planted trees at Mtumba Primary School in Dodoma. This initiative underlines the bank’s broader commitment to the environment.
