The Azania Bank Bunge Bonanza 2026 was successfully held, the event brought together fans of Simba SC and Young Africans SC in the Parliament( Members of Parliament and Parliamentary Staff), Ministries, Various Institutions and residents of Dodoma in a celebration of sports and unity.
The event began early in the morning at 6:00 a.m. with a walk from the Institute of Rural Development Planning (IRDP), Dodoma, to the John Merlin Secondary School. The walk was led by the Guest of Honour, Hon. Mwigulu Lameck Nchemba – The Prime Minister of the United Republic of Tanzania alongside Hon.Mussa Azzan Zungu – The Speaker of the National Assembly and Dr.Esther Mang’enya – Managing Director of Azania Bank, creating a powerful symbol of unity among citizens, sports fans and key stakeholders.
At the John Merlin School Grounds, participants enjoyed a variety of sporting activities, including football, basketball and athletics, fostering teamwork, health and friendly competition among attendees.
